Don Muccino is a believer in tradition. Not only does he run ACME Automotive Center in Northampton, he also lives in the Hatfield home he grew up in. Muccino is now married to Lisa Muccino, and together they are raising two children, Julie and Matthew. After Muccino graduated from Smith Academy in 1982, he went to Central Connecticut State University, and in 1986, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing and management. At first, he put his skills to work for All State Insurance, but a year and a half later, he joined the staff at ACME because his father needed help. Muccino has made many changes in the business over the years including the expansion and modernization of ACME Automotive to better service its customers. |

Gene Regan, a 1972 graduate of Leominster High School, had attended Mount Wachusset College at night and Leominster Technical Institute by day. After earning his certification in auto body mechanics from the technical institute, he moved to Holyoke and worked as a technician for Oliver auto body, where he became a manager in 1978. In 1989, he learned that his wife's uncle needed help in his Atlanta shop, and the couple up and moved. "I did it for family," Regan says. Regan and his wife, Eileen, moved back to the area in 1997, and Regan was hired by Acme as the body shop manager. "I love my job," he says. "I love helping people". Gene and Eileen Regan live in Holyoke and have three children, Katie, Danny and Timothy. |

Bob Lacas has worked in the Automotive Industry for seventeen years with experience in all aspects of parts, service and auto body. Bob grew up in West Springfield and moved to Westfield, MA in 1992, where he currently lives with his wife Tracy of ten years and two beautiful daughters Roseanna and Meghan. Bob enjoys camping with his family in New Hampshire, being the biggest fan of his favorite hockey player, his daugher Rosie and playing pool. Bob says that joining Acme was the best decision he ever made. "The facility is the best I have ever seen and the employees are better than I could have imagined. Everyone here is very family oriented. It's more than about the car, it's about the people." |
